Song List

More Cowbell has received great feedback on our song list! This may be the most diverse and interesting collection of songs we’ve seen. Some of these songs list the original composer, but we play a recent version covered by somebody else. For example, on Poor Poor Pitiful Me, which was originally written by Linda Rondstadt, we play in the style of Warren Zevon.

We’re constantly adding new material as one of us is inspired between practices, and it’s common for Bob, Eric, or Jeff to arrive at practice with some chords and a recommendation. Enjoy browsing this list of songs. We pull randomly from the list based on the energy in the the crowd, and line ’em up in a suitable fashion to support the mood. We’ve been known to build a set based on themes. For example, we once started with Jenny Jenny, then played Alison, Amie, and wrapped the set with Bertha. Eleanor Rigby would have fit in well with that set!

Cheers!
